The Pentecost Circle
Initiated in fall 2003, at the initiative of Rosemary Koenig. This is St. Jude's adult religious education program. It consists of:
Objective: To deepen the spiritual life of St. Jude adults and to offer to them data about the Catholic Church beliefs and traditions.
Responsible Party: Rosemary Koenig, Coordinator.
The Cenacle
Initiated in fall 2006, at the initiative of Veronica Borgeman.
Objective: Meet weekly to pray for priests and vocations.
Responsible Party: Veronica Borgeman.
Childrens Catechism.
A long established program designed to train children to receive their First Communion, offered when a parish child is of age to begin his First Communion preparation. The SJPC totally changed this program in summer 2005, the revised program was presented to and approved by the diocese in summer 2005. The new program is as follows:
Objectives: The Children Catechism program has three objectives: 1. To prepare the children for their First Communion; 2. At the same time to offer an opportunity for the parents themselves to review basic data on the Eucharist; 3. To encourage an at home atmosphere for the parents freely to talk about religion with their children. This will facilitate the need for the parents to talk about religion when their children become teenagers.

St. Jude Pastoral Committee
A committee of the Sacred Heart, Emmett Parish Pastoral Council. This is an advisory cimmittee. Its mission is to identify the pastoral needs of the St. Jude Station community and the means to meet those needs.

The HALO Program
Formally initiated in summer 2001 as the St. Jude Youth Ministry, this program was reviewed and changed in summer 2006, and it was renamed as the ÎHALO Program.â It is the St. Jude parish formal program eventually to prepare teens for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. But this program is open to youth of local families that are not Catholics, provided that the parents give their consent for their children to participate in the HALO Program which is not a proselityizing program. The HALO program consists of:
Objectives: Preparing Catholic youth for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation; To instill in Catholic youth a sense of social responsibility, according to the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church; To create solid bases for Catholic youth to grow as committed Roman Catholics; To expose non-Catholic youth to Catholic traditions and to allow them opportunities for wholesome socialization with local peers.

The Pueri (Latin for "The Children")
Discussed by the SJPC in late winter / spring 2006, this program was formally initiated in summer 2006. As an outreach program, The Pueri is open to local home-schooled children of any religious affiliation, provided that the parents give their consent for their children to participate in the program. Parental participation is encouraged.
Objectives: This program was created particularly for the benefit of home-schooled children:

St. Jude School Project
After the SJPC discussed this project among themselves and with diocesan authorities, the St. Jude Congregation was informed about this project in all 2005. The St. Jude School Project was formally initiated during the 2005 Advent season with the selling of Christmas trees.
Objective: To have a small Catholic grammar school attached to St. Jude.
Reponsible Party: The SJPC who accepted functioning as the "St. Jude School Advisory Board."
